The Shambles Soap Company was born of serendipity, a splash of curiosity, and a shared sense of wonder whilst abroad.

​

In the year 2023, we—two wives with a penchant for peculiar streets and indulgent self-care—found ourselves meandering the cobbled lanes of York, England. It was there, amidst the crooked charm of The Shambles and a delightful abundance of soap shops, that inspiration struck like a match to wax.

One luxurious bar led to another, and before long, we were utterly bewitched by the age-old craft of soapmaking. Upon our return home, we set about recreating that experience—minus the fog and English drizzle—with our own hands, hearts, and cauldrons of oils and botanicals.

Thus, The Shambles Soap Company came to be.

Every bar we create is lovingly handcrafted using only the finest ingredients we can source—ethically, sustainably, and with the utmost care. No strange additives. No unpronounceable muck. Just good, honest soap, designed to soothe the skin and gladden the spirit.
